Dear Parents,

On behalf of our school community, I thank you for visiting our school's website. I am hopeful the information and resources will inform you about the various academic, enrichment, and sports programs that we offer to our scholars.

PS/MS 95 is a student centered school where decisions are made to ensure that our scholars have a well-rounded education that prepares them socially, emotionally, physically, and academically to excel in education and life. The school has built strong partnerships with the community and private organizations to help with this endeavor.

Jennifer Reyes
Assistant Principal
Grades 3-5

I am Jennifer Reyes, and I am honored to be the new Assistant Principal at your child's school. Let me take this opportunity to formally introduce myself. I have proudly worked at every level within the school system for the past 18 years, and I am eager to begin this journey with all of you.

Throughout my professional life, I have served as a paraprofessional, a teacher, a bilingual program coordinator, an instructional leader in math and science, and in various high-stakes leadership roles, including the last 6 years as an Assistant Principal for Middle School.

As your child's educational leader, I strongly believe that by establishing a collaborative learning environment with high expectations, we will build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.

To initiate this work together, we will continue to focus on all the standards and expectations the school has set forth while homing in on preparing our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders by prioritizing study skills, time management skills, and encouraging them to take academic risks to go beyond mediocrity. All of this will prepare them for middle school and beyond.

On a personal note, I enjoy traveling and visiting new places, and I proudly represent the Caribbean as a second-generation Dominican and Puerto Rican.

Thank you for your support, and I look forward to working together for the success of our students.

Daniela Savino
Assistant Principal
Grades 6-8

I am Daniela Savino, Middle School Assistant Principal. I have been with the NYCPS since 2000. I have served the children and families of PS/MS 95 since 2015.

Prior to my 10 years as an Assistant Principal, I taught grades 3 through 5 and served as a Math Instructional Coach for grades 3 through 8. I continue to study instruction, content and other childhood developmental topics.

I believe proper education provides children with a balance of experiences and standards based curriculum. With this, at 95 our pre-teen students can discover new interests, find their respective voice and build their foundation for their place in the world.

In partnership with you, I will continue to work alongside your children. I assure you, they will be held to high standards both academically and socially. In addition, we will focus on developing student’s executive functions, mindfulness and skills that can positively impact the rest of the world.

On a personal note, I enjoy spending time in nature, watching football and listening to music.

Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to support your children.
