We are now at the halfway mark for the school year. Please keep in mind that it is very important that students maintain their concentration as the schoolwork will get more intense. Students have reached the time of year to determine whether they are ready for the next grade. Some parents will receive notification in the second report card and via a letter by the first week in February whether their child is “promotion in doubt.” The evidence of work is important. Please check that your child is completing all their assignments.
If your child has received a “promotion in doubt” warning, please be aware that it is not too late to do better. Make sure your child attends any additional support programs and that your child is completing all assignments.
Check your child’s work daily. Promotion is based on how well your child completes their school work.
